What makes up the price
Every price is built from these items, and the cart and payment summaries show them separately:
- Product
- The store price, converted to colones.
- International shipping
- What the carrier charges according to the billable weight of the parcel.
- Import taxes
- The duties customs sets according to the product category.
- Customs clearance
- The customs procedure in Costa Rica.
- Krgo service
- The Krgo commission, with its VAT.
- Exchange rate
- The spread on every dollar converted, on a line of its own.
- Card surcharge
- The cost of paying by card, included from the cart onwards.
- Delivery in Costa Rica
- Depends on your zone. Until you choose another address, it is worked out for your account's address or for the GAM.
The Krgo commission
The commission is charged in marginal tiers on the subtotal before commission: each part of the subtotal pays its own tier's rate, and the commission is never charged on itself.
| Subtotal bracket | Marginal commission |
|---|---|
| Up to CRC 50,000 | 20% |
| CRC 50,000 to CRC 150,000 | 18% |
| CRC 150,000 to CRC 350,000 | 16% |
| CRC 350,000 to CRC 700,000 | 13% |
| Over CRC 700,000 | 10% |
There is a minimum commission, charged once per shipment and not per product.
